Freedom Coast has a unique design that I kept coming back to. Yes, it is expensive but when you factor when you're getting it's pretty in line with what else is out there on the market for a single bike mount. It actually becomes more affordable. I can only use it for one bike due to my bike sizes and truck bed size. But if you have smaller bikes and a larger truck you could easily use it for multiple bikes. Freedom customers service was great too. I had a fitment issue with my fork adapters and they custom made me a set to fit and didn't charge me again.

I honestly went back and forth on whether to just use a standard L-track section or to spend a bit more on this one. I decided that having the solid track down the center compared to the many holes of a standard L-track gave me a little more confidence that the bike would stay where it wanted it to go.

These mounts actually just barely did not fit my Canyon Grizl fork. The reason for the 5 stars is because when I reached out to Freedom Coast they were super responsive and asked for photos. Then went above and beyond and actually custom milled me two new adapters for my fork free of charge. The new ones fit perfectly!

The build quality is great. Nothing bad to say there. I have a Tacoma with a 5ft bed and aluminum cap on the bed. My bikes JUST fit. I have to tilt the bike sideways to clear the cap door. It's been taking some getting used to and has been a bit fiddly to say the least. The fork mount has to be positioned all the way flat for me. Due to the style of bikes, size and handlebars, accessories etc I ended up purchasing a 12 inch section of track. My bike has to be set back away from the tailgate in order to be able to shut everything. So far the least frustrating way to get my bike into the cap is to attach the fork mount to the bike before putting it into the truck and then sliding it into the track. Otherwise I am fighting the close constraints to get the bike to fit. This is possibly due to multiple factors- I'm 6'1" and my bikes are somewhat larger, built for bikepacking with front racks. Another bike with drop bars. Fitment may differ with larger trucks, taller caps, or smaller bikes. I do like the fact I can lock my bike in my truck and not worry about anyone stealing it. But due to the size constraints I can only fit one bike in my truck bed.

Ease of install was the deciding factor in the purchase between these and other aftermarket options.

Install was as easy as the video (great job, by the way). The levers themselves are great. They make my magura brakes better, and theyre already powerful.
