TRP makes a premium product, and the DHR-Evo brake is the best of the best. This brake was designed with a reach that is farther away than the average mtb brake. We have noticed that this causes arm pump and fatigue, especially on race runs and longer enduro stages. Our lever moves the lever position about 12mm closer to the bar and has an even more aggressive curve that feels like it was made for your finger. This lever is a direct replacement for the levers on any of the TRP "Evo" series of brakes. Now with added texture for your finger.

Sold in pairs, and available in raw polished finish, black, blue, orange, red, purple, and metallic flake powdercoat.

Quality is insane, the color matches my other purple anodized parts! Install is easy after watching the video! It does reduce the lever throw as expected! Only little thing is the right lever is a bit stiffer compared to the left lever or the TRP one, probably cause of tolerances. Pretty sure it's going to settle over time! I have 1 ride for now, and the fealing is awesome with a shorter reach, does indeed change leverage ratio a bit (in a good way!). Would 100% recommend if you're having trouble with TRP because of reach!

Yeah these guys give the brakes an incredible feel and look , the reach is great especially if you have smaller hands
However the price is crazy but worth it for me

Contact Points

Feet, hands, and fingers. We only contact our bikes in a few areas when descending. Our levers feature an aggressive curve that feels like it is made for your finger and texture to keep that finger onboard.

What people are saying

Pinkbike

TRP's DH-R Evo brakes have proven to be some of the best on the market at this point, but for some users there's one fatal flaw; folks that prefer to run their levers very close to the bar simply can't with the stock product, as the reach adjust bottoms out further than other options out there. Freedom Coast took the existing hardware and designed a fully different lever that brings the contact in about 12mm, allowing for to-the-bar pull if that's your thing. That said, these Freedom Coast levers have excellent ergonomics regardless of your setup, with a pronounced hook that makes it easy to reef on the brakes.

BLISTER

I like the TRP DH-R Evo brakes quite a bit, but their reach range is unusually far out from the handlebar, and the Freedom Coast lever blades are an effective fix for folks like me who do not get along with the stock setup. The Freedom Coast levers are well-made, feel great, and while it’d be nice if the stock brakes had a more useable reach adjustment range, I’m glad there’s now a good option to address it.
